The San Francisco 49ers wasted little time releasing FB Bruce Miller after news came out that the 29-year old full back had been arrested and charged with assault of a 70-year old man and his 29-year old son.

Miller allegedly tried to check into the Fisherman’s Wharf Marriott Hotel on Sunday night, but was told that the hotel was completely booked.

According to KTVU in San Francisco,  an intoxicated Miller returned in the early hours of Monday and knocked down one of the guest room doors.

The room was occupied by an elderly couple who had no idea who the hell Miller was. Next door, the couple’s 29-year old son, told Miller that he had the wrong room.

That’s when Miller began attacking the man. The 29-year old man’s father tried to help his son, and was also attacked by Miller.

The elderly man suffered broken bones after being punched in the face.

Both father and son were hospitalized.

Miller was arrested on four felony counts: two of criminal threats, one of assault with a deadly weapon — not a firearm, and elder abuse, as well as a misdemeanor battery charge.

His bond was set at $178,000 and he was no longer in custody as of Monday evening, per USA Today.
