Baker Mayfield Continues To Own Colin Cowherd On Twitter After His Criticism

Colin Cowherd continues to take shots at Baker Mayfield.

In a response to a since deleted tweet that seemed to be about the Mayfield, Fox Sports 1 TV and radio host Colin Cowherd responded saying that “Marginal size and athleticism isn’t a NUMBER ONE pick. In any draft. In any sport”

Mayfield responded by owning Cowherd: “Well it happened bud. Have a nice day!”

Cowherd is in denial, considering the Cleveland Browns, did, in fact take Mayfield with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 Draft. The former Oklahoma Sooner is 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, which means that he’s smaller than the prototypical quarterback and despite being touted for his mobility, Mayfield ran a 4.84 40-yard dash and a seven-second 3-cone drill.

For context, none of those numbers scream “world star athlete”

Mayfield likes proving people wrong, keeping a digital record of all the media members that have been critical or doubted him and he uses those critics to fuel him, so as people continue to doubt, Mayfield will continue to bookmark.

You never know, you might be on his list.
