BREAKING: New Orleans Saints Trade Adrian Peterson To The Arizona Cardinals

Adrian Peterson signed with the New Orleans Saints this offseason after being let go by the team he’s played for since 2007 and the team that drafted him, the Minnesota Vikings.

Just five games into the season, and the 32 year old running back is on the move again, this time to Arizona.

Peterson, beyond the talent, ultimately ended up being a bad fit for the Saints. He was a liability for coach Sean Payton, who showed his hand every time he put him in the game. At this stage in his career, Peterson is only good for handing the ball off too, not pass blocking nor passing out of the backfield.

Peterson, who insists he isn’t finished had 81 yards on just 27 carries during his now short stint with the Saints. He will likely fit in the Cardinals offense who are looking for a replacement for the injured David Johnson.

Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson, Carson Palmer, Larry Fitzgerald? The Cardinals offense can now be mistaken for a retirement community.
