CLEVELAND, OH – News broke earlier this week that Josh Gordon, the Browns stud WR who had missed a slew of games due to substance abuse issues would be finally reinstated by Roger Goodell. With the decision, Gordon would be allowed to rejoin the Browns after a 4-game suspension.
The obvious rejoice in Cleveland didn’t quite last long though.
After Gordon allegedly was spotted rolling a celebratory blunt after he was given his reinstatement papers, Goodell and the league decided to issue yet another “random” drug test to Gordon, to which he failed. According to sources close with the WR, his buddy Le’Veon bell told him to just skip it.
After the 4th failed drug test in 2 years, Goodell announced Thursday night that he would elevate Gordon’s suspension to having to play a full season, all 16 games, with the Browns instead of having to have the luxury of sitting out.
“This fool won’t learn his lesson, perhaps forcing him through the arduous punishment of actually being forced to play on the Browns instead of being at home where everyone on that team wishes they were will change him,” Goodell told reporters.
Gordon will reportedly speak to the media about the decision Friday morning at the Browns facility.
