Saints Sign WR Brandon Marshall In Wake Of Dez Bryant Injury

Brandon Marshall has never been to the playoffs in his 13-year career. That will likely change this year.

Looking to depend the receiving core in New Orleans for a run at a Super Bowl, the Saints worked out a few veteran WRs, opting to sign Dez Bryant last week.

We all know how that worked out.

The former Cowboy tore his achilles during his second practice with his new team, sending his eight month hiatus out of football into an eight month recovery, sidling him for the year.

Brandon Marshall was among those who the Saints brought in, and on Monday morning, was signed by the team on a one-year deal in the wake of Bryant’s injury.

The Seattle Seahawks released the 34-year-old earlier this season.
