Carmelo Anthony has been traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Atlanta Hawks per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Oklahoma City has agreed to trade Carmelo Anthony and a protected 2022 first-round pick to Atlanta for point guard Dennis Schroder and Mike Muscala, league sources tell ESPN. Anthony will be waived, and he will join team of his choice. Rockets are frontrunner.

Atlanta will send back point guard Dennis Schroeder and forward Mike Muscala and Oklahoma City will also send a 2022 protectd first-round pick for Anthony who will be playing in his 16th NBA season.
The Thunder will save nearly $100 million with the move.
