The Vikings star running back’s rookie season is over.
During Minnesota’s game against the Lions Sunday, Dalvin Cook’s knee buckled during a jump cut, resulting in a nearly completely torn ACL.
The #Vikings initial diagnosis for Dalvin Cook is a nearly complete ACL tear, per @TomPelissero and me. He’s hopeful the MRI shows otherwise

Cook underwent an MRI Monday that confirmed the team’s initial fears.
The injury is another in a devastating line of injuries, with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater still not back from a dislocated knee and torn ACL himself, along with the QB brought in to fill in for Bridgewater, Sam Bradford, out with an injury of his own.
