Browns Player Rushed To Hospital After Obliterating Blindside Hit From Titans Player Blocking

The NFL and college football has taken large leaps to try to eliminate the blindside hits from the game of football. These hits tend to rank among the most dangerous considering the player getting hit usually doesn’t see the on-coming blocker, who’s coming from a perpendicular direction at full speed.

Browns’ Jordan Poyer was the latest victim of a crushing blindside blow after Titans RB Antonio Andrews laid him out.

Poyer was taken to a local hospital immediately after to be evaluated and treated for a concussion. He was examined for an abdominal injury that later was diagnosed as a lacerated kidney.
