Steelers RB James Connor Shares Special Moment With Fellow Cancer Survivor Before Game

James Connor has been an inspiration for many as a cancer survivor and NFL running back. He’s trying to pass on the positivity.

The running back who’s been starting for Steelers in place of Le’Veon Bell overcame Hodgkin’s Lymphoma with playing football at the University of Pittsburgh.

Before Sunday’s game in Cincinnati, Connor spotted a young fan holding a sign proclaiming his accomplishment of finishing chemotherapy, and made his way over to acknowledge his feat and even grab a picture.
