Carson Wentz seems to be learning from Sam Bradford quickly in Philadelphia.
The rookie QB, who the Eagles traded all the way up to the second overall pick to select, suffered a hairline fracture in his ribs in the team’s preseason opener on Thursday on the second to last play of his outing.
There is no exact timetable for his return, but the team hopes to have Wentz back “before the end of the preseason” although it seems unlikely.
Upon feeling discomfort at the begin of practice on Saturday, he ended up not participating in team drills, undergoing a CT scan after practice, revealing the fracture. Coach Doug Pederson initially thought Wentz was just sore.
And of course, what would an Eagles blunder be without an EDP video dropping immediately after.
