Maybe Russell Wilson should consider playing baseball, after all.
The Seahawks quarterback first passion was baseball and almost took a shot at making a career out of it. But he ended up playing football and lets just say he’s done pretty well for himself so far.
Earlier in the offseason, the Texans Rangers actually traded Wilson’s rights to the New York Yankees, who then offered Wilson a shot to come in and practice during Spring Training.
And Wilson being the great athlete that he is, took up on that offer.
Here’s Wilson blasting a home run during batting practice:

Do the Yankees have room for another ‘Bronx Bomber’?
