Kareem Hunt has been released by the Chiefs just hours after a video showing the running back assaulting a 19-year-old woman in a Cleveland hotel.
The team released a statement explaining that their star lied to them about the incident, which was of course brought to light with the surveillance camera footage being made public.

With the Chiefs knowing an incident did happen, the untruthfulness on Hunt’s part likely kept Hunt on the team up to their point this season, especially with the victim opting not to press charges.
