Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has donated massive amounts of raised money as well as his own to various charitable organizations and groups he believes in – the latest of which some have found controversial.
Kaepernick latest donation went towards feeding incarcerated men at Riker’s Island, a New York City jail complex, making sure they had a special meal during the holidays.
I teamed up with Kevin Livingston from 100 Suits for 100 Men. Previously I donated suits for formerly incarcerated men in the job search process. I donated $33,000 to his organization&part of that was recently used to provide a special meal to those incarcerated at Rikers Island pic.twitter.com/qu5hRDvTSq
