Cowboys DL David Irving Suspended 4 Games For Violating NFL’s Substance Abuse Policy

If a Cowboys defensive lineman being suspended to start to the season sounds like a broken record you aren’t alone.

Dallas will once again be without one to start the year at the hands of a suspension, this time David Irving, knocked by the NFL for a violation of the league’s substance abuse policy. The suspension is for four games.

2018 will be the second straight season Irving will begin the league year suspended for four games, violating the NFL’s PED policy in 2017.

Irving will be eligible to return to the Cowboys active roster on Monday, October 1 following the team’s September 30 game against the Detroit Lions.
