Pro-Bowl wide receiver Dez Bryant is a free agent but his name isn’t generating much buzz. That changed Friday night when the former Cowboy went off on several members of his team during a Twitter rant.
The tweet storm was prompted after Bryant got word that Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones essentially blamed him for Dak Prescott’s regression in 2017 during a SiriusXM NFL radio interview on Friday.
“Dak is working on his game and accuracy. He has to trust the system,” Jones noted during the interview. “I think that was tough last year with Dez Bryant in his ear. I think he’ll have the year he had [in 2016] if not better.”
Bryant called out players like linebacker Sean Lee and Scott Linehan with the tweets.
