“EA Sports just earned itself a “99” in trolling.”
On Tuesday, EA Sports announced that Seattle’s Marshawn Lynch was the highest-rated running back in Madden 16. Lynch earned an overall rating of 96 thanks to some near-perfect scores in some of the attributes:
The Seahawks, lightheartedly displeased responded back on twitter with a tweet reading, “What’s a Beast got to of to get a 99 TRUCKING? Little did they know, they were about to be virally demolished with EA Sport’s response.
Then, the troll of the century ensued.
…EA Sports obviously poking fun at the Seahawks decision to throw the ball with a 1 yard to go situation in the last seconds of Super Bowl 49.
