Eli Manning Goes 1-6 With 2 Interceptions In First Practice Of 2019

The New York Giants are entering 2019 with seemingly one of the worst off-seasons in recent memory for any NFL team.

From trading away superstar WR Odell Beckham, letting arguably the best safety in league walk and sign with a division rival, to drafting the not-so-highly touted Daniel Jones with the sixth pick in the draft, the Giants seem to be a disaster under GM Dave Gentleman.

The Giants now find themselves stuck paying an aging Eli Manning a kings random per year year until Daniel Jones is ready to prove he can be a franchise quarterback in the NFL much less a productive starter.

At least Manning is going to turn things around this year, right?

If Eli’s first practice of the season is any indication of what’s to come, it’s going to be another long year for Giants fans.

Despite completing only 16% of his passes, Giants offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur still told the media that he looked really good and threw the ball well, epitomizing the delusion of how the franchise sees Manning at this stage of his career.
