Eli Manning On Odell Beckham Jr’s Controversial ESPN Interview: “I Don’t Listen To Lil’ Wayne Much”

New York Giants QB Eli Manning had an interesting response to WR Odell Beckham Jr’s controversial interview with ESPN’s Josina Anderson that randomly included rapper Lil’ Wayne

“I don’t watch Lil Wayne much,” Manning said when asked about previous comments from wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., per Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.

During the controversial interview, Beckham neither confirmed nor denied whether or not the quarterback was the reason of the Giants struggles and openly questioned his team’s “heart and energy” when discussing the team’s slow start.

While QB Eli Manning took the high rode when discussing the whole situation, he did mention that him and Odell have a great relationship.

The Giants sit at 1-4 and are coming off a heartbreak 33-31 loss to the Panthers thanks to a 63-yard game-winning field goal from K Graham Gano. Thanks to the awful NFC East, the Giants have a golden opportunity to put themselves back in contention with the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles coming to town on Thursday Night Football.
