The New York Giants fell to 0-5 today after a 27-22 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
What made the afternoon worse for the Giants and their fans was the fact that the team lost superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a broken fibula in addition to already losing WR’s Sterling Shepard and Brandon Marshall to a less significant injury.
But that wasn’t it.
Apparently, Eli was banged up enough to warrant an x-ray:
Eli Manning underwent X-ray on his neck after taking an inadvertent knee to the head from … Ereck Flowers.

According to the New York Daily News, Manning inadvertently took a knee to the head from teammate Ereck Flowers on the Giants’ final series after being crushed to the ground by Chargers defensive end Joe Bosa.
Manning was down on the ground longer than usual before rising and looked a bit wobbly, but stayed in the game.
Manning said after the game he did not suffer a concussion.
Eli has never missed a game in his career but this is something to monitor going forward as the hits continue to pile up for the Giants.
