Florida State-Florida Bench Clearing Brawl

During the eight inning of Tuesday’s Florida-Florida State baseball game in Jacksonville, benches were cleared and the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner, Jameis Winston was in the middle of it.

It all started when Florida State LF DJ Stewart hit a runner down first-base line and ran over Gators reliever Danny Young, trying to get to first base. Young’s teammate, first baseman Zach Powers, took offense to the hit and got into Stewart’s face, and that’s when things took a turn for the worst.

After the brawl hit social media, rumors circulated that Winston himself was the one who either was punched or thrown a punch, there is a picture of him being held back by police. In the end, four players were ejected and Winston wasn’t one of them.
