The Bears on the back of a Khalil Mack performance for the ages were about to beat the Packers on the opening Sunday of the NFL season – that is until Aaron Rodgers turned into, well Aaron Rodgers.
Despite Green Bay spotting Chicago 20 points, Rodger’s leg, a quarter of DeShone Kizer, two turnovers including a Khalil Mack pick-6, the Bears could not close out the Packers with only about a quarter to go when Rodgers returned from his injury and the tweets from the moment leading up to that point are now hilarious.
Why would the Packers even consider putting Aaron Rodgers back on the field given what Khalil Mack has been doing?

It’s the 4th quarter, and the #Packers are down by three scores.
Why is Aaron Rodgers on the field?

No sarcasm, the Packers should just rest Rodgers for the rest of the game They are down 17, cannot block the Bears line, and spent way too much on him to risk it

Rodgers should not be on the field right now

I personally, would not play Rodgers tonite. No, no, no. Low chance of winning. High chance of more injury. This is a 20 week march to glory. Be strategic.

Glad Aaron Rodgers is back, I want him out there while the #Bears whoop ass.
(I realize I may come to regret this tweet)

On a Sunday where my fantasy teams have lost Aaron Rodgers, Delaine Walker & Doug Baldwin all in one day…I can’t stop smiling…#MackAttack #WalkTheWalk #SNF

This is one traumatizing game for every @packers fans… worst nightmare against the @Bears – of all the teams, too! #SundayNightFootball

So, according to @numberFire Live, the Bears have ~90% odds to win right now. Why would you risk Rodgers’ health? https://t.co/Xq4XYaDntc

Trubisky has been better than Rodgers this year. Can’t be disputed.

Why is Rodgers coming back?!!! Did we get an offensive line upgrade? Is Khalil Mack magically gone?
— Liz Gonzales (@TheLizGonzales) September 10, 2018
Aaron Rodgers is the most over-rated player in the history of the NFL…
— Pyromaniac.com (@pyroman1ac) September 10, 2018
Going to be a long night for the Packers.

This one is over, I wouldn’t even push it with Rodgers. Stunned to see he’s even back on the sidelines.
— Michael Hoffer (@foresports) September 10, 2018
I reallllllllly don’t like putting Rodgers back in the game here…
— Mike Golic Jr (@MGolicJR57) September 10, 2018
Imagine being a @packers fan right now… 😬
— Elevate | Brandon (@ElevateCEO) September 10, 2018
I wouldn’t put Rodgers back in there. A lot of season ahead of the Packers. Most of which, thankfully, will not involve Khalil Mack.
— Bill Barnwell (@billbarnwell) September 10, 2018
The Packers should probably just forfeit the second half and move on to week two.

I’m going to bed. #packers

Aaron Rodgers overrated. Just so y’all know.
