HS Football Player Injured In Shocking Coordinated Attack By Opposing Team During Game

As we’ve seen in the NFL with ‘Bountygate’ targeting specific players in effort to knock them out of the game with a hard hit or alike is not as uncommon as one may think. But this is a whole new level.

Jagger Gower, QB for Burleson High School, fell victim to a premeditated attack from members of the Waco University High School team during a game when he was essentially jumped during multiple plays, getting blatantly choked, slammed to the ground, and punched by an opposing players.

The player responsible for the acts was only forced to sit out a few quarters of football, while Gower had to miss three games due to a concussion he received during the beating.
