Le’Veon Bell Wont Report To Steelers And Is Unlikely To Play In 2018

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell is unlikely to report to the team by Tuesday’s deadline, which means he would be ineligible to play the rest of the season, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The 26-year old running back’s main reason for sitting out this season and ultimately forfeiting $14.8 million that he would make under the franchise tag was to preserve his value and body, which opened the door for James Conner to get the work in the Steelers’s backfield. Connor has made the most of the opportunity, rushing for 771 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Not reporting on Tuesday would mean Bell’s career with the Steelers is over.
