TAMPA BAY, FL – Buccaneers fans aren’t about these meaningless preseason games, and they for sure aren’t about these tropical storms. Combine the two, and you get this.

About a whopping 47 people (give or take), showed up to watch the Bucs take on the Redskins in Tampa Wednesday night at Raymond-James Stadium. What else showed up to Tampa tonight? Tropical Storm Hermine. Though weak, the storm dumped loads of water on south and central Florida all day Wednesday into the night, perfect weather to go watch some football.

Hermine triggered the first hurricane watch for the west coast of Florida in years, making the absence by Buccaneers fans excusable with the flooding and poor conditions, making you wonder why the game wasn’t cancelled in the first place.

Florida is currently in a state-of-emergency.
