New Footage Shows Vontaze Burfict Purposefully Stepping On LaGarette Blount’s Leg

Following the Bengals loss to the Patriots on Sunday, the league is looking closely at footage that appears to show Vontaze Burfict once again laying cheap shots on an opponent.

The serial dirty hitter missed the first four games of this season for his actions during last year’s playoff game versus the Steelers, and just two games later, it appears as if he still hasn’t learned his lesson.

The first video that was spread during the game shows the Bengals LB diving into the knees of Patriots TE Martellus Bennett while a pass from Tom Brady hadn’t even arrived.

Beyond these two notable instances, Burfict was involved in multiple chirping matches where he had to be separated from Patriots players, specifically TE Rob Gronkowski.

ESPN insider Adam Schefter is reporting that the talented linebacker will likely face another fine/suspension for the latest in what’s been a long list of repeat offenses.
