Who would have thought, as of Thursday morning, after a joke was made of former Heisman Trophy Winning and NFL quarterback Tim Tebow trying out for Major League Baseball, a team has signed him.

The Mets were of course one of the 27 teams who attended Tebow’s open workout in Los Angeles two weeks ago.
The 29-year-old will not play for the Scottsdale Scorpions, the Mets’ minor-league affiliate in the Arizona Fall League, but rather in the team’s Instructional League.
