NFL Bans Fans Ordering Jerseys From Using ‘Harambe’ As Last Name

Harambe didn’t die for this.

As reported Wednesday morning by ESPN Business reporter Darren Rovell, the NFL has forbidden it’s fans from using ‘HARAMBE’ as a nameplate when they custom order their jerseys.

On, or each team, you can order a customizable jersey where you can customize your last name and number, to which for whatever reason, the NFL now disallows.

Forget Colin Kaepnerick. Forget fining players for wearing 9/11 tribute cleats. THIS is something to protest the NFL for. What a travesty. RIP Harambe. Forever in our minds, and sometimes on the backs of our jerseys.
