Oregon Ducks Will Wear Throwback Uniforms For Saturday’s Game

The Oregon Ducks will be going old school for this weekend’s game against the Washington Huskies.

The Ducks will be wearing these throwback uniforms from 1994 to honor the legendary Oregon play, ‘The Pick’, an interception that happened on Oct. 22, 1994.  

With the Ducks leading 24-20 late in the fourth quarter, the 9th ranked Washington Huskies, Oregon’s Kenny Wheaton intercepted a Huskies pass and returned it 97-yards for the game-sealing touchdown. Oregon pulled off the 31-20 upset over Washington and went on to win it’s first Pac 10 tittle since 1957. 

With the Washington Huskies coming to Eugene, OR this Saturday, it was only fitting that the Ducks honor the 20th anniversary of the “The Pick” by wearing these awesome throwback uniforms:
