On August 1st 2014 Indiana Pacers super star Paul George suffered one of the gruesome ankle injuries you will ever see while he was playing for Team USA in the 2014 FIBA World Cup.

Now, nearly three months after his injury, the Pacers star was at practice shooting jump shots. This is awesome news for a guy who many people thought would certainly be out for the season and is now keeping hopes alive he can return this season:

It’s very possible that I can play (this season). I’ve talked to all the guys and said, ‘Man, you guys have to get in the playoffs. That’s the best chance I’ve got of coming back and playing this year.’ I’ve already got it in mind that I could miss this whole year. I’m come to peace with that, but I’d love to be able to come back and play again.

Only time will tell if George will do the unthinkable and actually return this season, but one thing is for sure: seeing him on the court shooting jump shots is definitely something Pacers are loving to see at this moment.
