DENVER, CO – Peyton Manning takes the field today as the Broncos starter for the first time since early this season.
The near 40-year-old QB was sidelined due to a plantar facia injury which inhibited his ability to throw his dead ducks down the field.
Luckily, the Broncos’ backup quarterback Brock Osweiler filled in and played relatively well, enough to secure home advantage throughout the playoffs. Peyton came into the final game of the regular season and helped the team beat the Chargers.
