The team has Tyrod Taylor as a potential veteran QB, and selected Davis Mills with its first 2021 NFL Draft pick, which came in the third round.
The closest the Texans come to being favored to win a game comes in Week 12, when the Jets arrive as one-point favorites. That line can always change. Not only that, they are double-digit underdogs in five games, and they are favored to lose by a touchdown or more 10 times.
The Detroit Lions open their 2021 season at home against the San Francisco 49ers, before a trip to face the NFC North rival Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football in Week 2.
