Redskins Team President Doesn’t Even Know Own QB’s Name, Calls Him ‘Kurt Cousins’ During Presser

For quite some time, the Washington Redskins have been one of the most dysfunctional franchises in the NFL, and are proving again why that stigma still reins true.

After their franchise quarterback Kirk Cousins turned down a long-term contract worth 53-million guaranteed, opting for a 1-year contract, team president Bruce Allen released a statement explaining their efforts to sign Cousins long-term, only to be denied.

During that statement, Allen got the name of his own QB wrong not once, not twice, but six straight times, thinking it was ‘Kurt’ Cousins instead of ‘Kirk’ Cousins.

When asked about the mispronunciation of Kirk’s name, a team spokesperson explained the mistake as having to do with Allen’s “accent”.

Seems legit.
