Last week Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn ended their high-profile yet mysterious relationship of almost three years.

According to the NY Post, a source close to the former couple told Us Weekly that it was Rodgers who pulled the plug on Munn, and not the other way around.

“The big issue is that Olivia doesn’t get along with his family. They think she’s controlling,” a source told the magazine.

Munn was at the center of the quarterback’s non-existent relationship with the rest of his family, even believed to be the cause of the rift that was brought to light when Rodgers’ brother appeared on ABC’s the Bachelorette.

The source coutners that notion though, saying, “When he got together with Olivia Munn, his family told him they didn’t trust her and thought she wasn’t with him for the right reasons. That made him furious, and he ended up choosing Olivia over his family.”

Perhaps Rodgers and his family could rekindle their relationship with Munn out of the picture.
