REPORT: Jon Gruden Expected To Be Named Raiders Head Coach After Final Broadcast With ESPN

Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio was let go Sunday just one year removed from a 12-4 season and the team’s first playoff birth since 2002. That promising season was following with a disappointing 6-10 season, leading to the franchise wanting to make a change at head coach. It appears as if they had their guy in mind.

The Jon Gruden coaching rumors are always prevalent, but it appears as if this one has some legs.

According to numerous sources, Gurden is expected to be named the Raiders new head coach following his ESPN broadcasting obligations for the remainder of the 2017-2018 NFL season.
