REPORT: Rob Gronkowski Considering Retiring From NFL To Pursue Acting Career

Following the Patriots devastating 41-33 loss in Super Bowl 52, TE Rob Gronkowski hinted to reporters that he maybe considering retirement from the NFL.

Well, we now have an idea of what the next step in Gronk’s career could be if he really does decide to hang up his cleats.

Patriots “All-World” tight end Rob Gronkowski is considering retirement to pursue a career in acting, according to a source.

Gronkowski, nicknamed “Gronk,” has been told by two Hollywood superstars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Sylvester Stallone, that he could make millions of dollars in action films.

Gronkowski has told friends that the injuries have taken a toll on him.

Gronkowski suffered a major concussion in the AFC Championship Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a hit from safety Barry Church, and he has had a series of other significant injuries throughout his career. He is potentially already a Hall of Fame caliber player, and he already has a Super Bowl ring.

Gronk’s has had 12 credits in movies according to IMBD. Most notably, he appeared as himself in the Entourage movie and in the FOX series Family Guy.

Given his incredibly fun demeanor and popularity among fans, he would no doubt be highly coveted among film studios if he truly did decide to make the move.
