RGIII Likes Instagram Post Slamming Redskins Organization, Blames Intern

RGIII

The Washington Redskins have benched Robert Griffin III and are ready to move on from him but that doesn’t mean the dysfunction is gone.

A few hours after Redskins coach Jay Gruden announced that Kirk Cousins will be the started quarterback for the 2015 season, RGIII’s Instagram account “liked” a photo on Instagram criticizing the head coach, the front office and owner Dan Snyder.

And thanks to social media and how everything is under a microscope, RGIII’s action was spotted and shared throughout social media.  What made matters worse was the explanation Robert posted explaining why the “like” button was clicked on that post:

“I just want to set the record straight on this one. I did not “like” that IG post ridiculing our team. I have not been social media active consistently for awhile now and am ultra-focused on working to get back on the field and trying to help this team. One of our interns who helps with Instagram liked the post. As soon as I was made aware of it, it was immediately unliked. That is not how I feel and I appreciate your understanding. #HTTR”

This whole situation is just stupid.  The fact that it has reached such an all-time low with Robert Griffin and the Washington Redskins shows how dysfunctional the Washington Redskins truly are.

Calling them a dumpster fire is an insult to dumpster fires. Like sir Charles once said, “just burn the whole building down.”
