Richard Sherman Intercepts Pass, Dragged Down By His Hair

Man, does this look dreadful (see what was done there)

The NFL allows players to wear their hair in whatever style they choose, including a popular one of long dreads which go past the name on the back of the jersey, but players would do so at their own risk, as a player’s hair is considered part of the uniform.

Early in the 4th quarter of Sunday’s game, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman came up with a pick against the Baltimore Ravens. As Ravens receiver Chris Matthews went to make the tackle, he reached and grabbed a handful of hair, using it to drag Sherman down to the ground.

The Seahawks capitalized on the great field position, scoring a touchdown and extra point to extend their lead to 35-6.
