Richard Sherman is in his first season with the San Francisco 49ers, and by his performance, you would have no clue he’s coming off an achilles tear.
According to ProFootballFocus, the veteran corner is currently holding the quarterbacks he faces on throws targeting the WR he’s covering to a 39.6 passer rating.

It may be important to note, a 39.6 passer rating is equivalent to a quarterback throwing the ball into the ground on every snap.
Sherman is leading the next best cornerback, Morris Claiborne of the Jets, by a whopping 6 points.
