SMU Loses To UCLA After A Controversial Goal Tending Call

A great start to the 2015 NCAA Tournament just got its share of controversy during the end of the 6th seeded SMU and 11th seeded UCLA game.

Trailing 58-56, Bryce Alford put up a desperation three-pointer as the clock was winding down, when an SMU player tipped the shot after the ball looked like it was not even going  to hit the rim. The referees called it a goal tending and award UCLA three points, giving them a 60-59 win.

UCLA will face 14th seeded UAB on Saturday.
