Ryan Shazier was carted off the field during Monday night’s matchup between the Steelers and Bengals after suffering a spinal injury.
The injury occurred when the Pittsburgh linebacker’s head struck Bengals’ Josh Malone’s abdomen, leaving Shazier grabbing his back, then clenching his hands (presumably to test if he was paralyzed), all with his lower body motionless.

Shazier was rushed to an area hospital where he would be evaluated and diagnosed with a spinal collusion.
