Steelers Trade WR Antonio Brown To The Oakland Raiders

NFL fans went to bed Thursday night thinking Antonio Brown was the newest member of the Buffalo Bills and woke up with him still being a Steeler.

Initial reports of the trade from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport were shot down by Brown, later confirmed to be false by the Bills.

Well, he’s now an Oakland Raider, breaking the news himself with an Instagram photo Saturday night.

The Steelers receive a 3rd and 5th round draft pick in return.

Brown was at the center of the drama that was the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018 after reportedly getting into alternations with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and disagreements with head coach Mike Tomlin.

The rift resulted Brown being benched for a must-win Week 17 game following a missed walk-through and eventually to a request to be traded.

He now has his wish, joining a team headed by Jon Gruden looking to rebuild with a multitude of draft picks to make that happen.
