People who know football were stunned last year when Terrell Owens wasn’t voted into the Canton as a first ballot Hall of Fame’r.
But after last night’s snub of Terrell Owens, many are calling it just flat out ridiculous.
There’s absolutely no reason T.O. shouldn’t wasn’t a first ballot Hall of Fame’r but keeping him for a second straight season has many calling for a different system of voting.
The all-time great WR turned to Twitter to announce he wasn’t voted into Canton AGAIN:
Unfortunately I DID NOT MAKE IT again this year. Thanks to ALL my fans & supporters. #FlawedProcess

Now we all know Owens was a handful to deal with and had his fair share of issues inside the locker room with all almost all the teams he played with.
On the field, he’s made 6 Pro Bowl appearances, was first team All-Pro on five different occasions, is in the top ten in receiving yards, and has the third most receiving touchdowns of all time. What else does the man have to do to be enshrined?
HOF is a total joke. Honestly, doesn’t mean anything to me to get in beyond this point. https://t.co/wJJ8vVSp9d

Put all the antics aside, Owens was one of the best receivers to ever play the game. Plain and simple. Not rewarding him for the career he had just because he ruffled some feathers along the way is just absurd.
But Fame has “ME” in it. ?? https://t.co/M6HIFNzbSL

Despite the snub, Owens did congratulate the guys that did get voted into Canton:
Congratulations to the Class of 2017! Well deserved.
