Texans fans had high hopes coming into this season with seemingly a Super Bowl contending team only in need of a QB to complete the puzzle.
Despite still leading their division six weeks into the season, that realization hasn’t quite come to fruition. With JJ Watt out for the season and DeAndre Hopkins rendered essentially useless due to the inability to throw the ball down the field, the Texan’s problems are obvious.
Texans fans have realized this and have begun to revolt. During the Texans excuse of a game vs the Broncos on Monday Night, fans started a GoFundMe page in order to buyout the now ludicrous $72 million the Texans will owe over 4 years to their QB.
The description reads:
“I am a die hard Texans fan and we need to get rid of Brock Osweiler or we’re not going anywhere. He is a waste of 72 million and for a dollar a day we can get him out and make Deandre Hopkins happy. Help spread the word!”
