Thought Khalil Mack is the talk of the NFL and rightfully so, Von Miller hasn’t gone anywhere, and this replay of Miller from Thursday night’s game shows why he’s still arguably the best defender in football.
In a wonderful play design, defensive coordinator Joe Woods drew up a blitz where Miller would divert his rush and take out the right guard, freeing up Denver’s tackle to go in for the sack. But not only did Miller do his job, he did the job of his teammate who was supposed to get the sack, quickly getting to his feet and running back across the line to where he started, strip-sacking Josh Rosen.
