The University of Miami football team unveiled their new uniforms from Nike, and for most sick is an understatement. The new gear is intended to reflect the programs storied tradition and history as well as feature modern technology and overall appearance. The overall extravagant design elements were geared to reflect to culture of Miami’s people and architecture. “Historically, UM has been a trendsetter in college football for uniform designs,” Miami Athletic Director Blake James said. “With this latest uniform design, we are able to combine our iconic history with South Florida tradition and a modern edge.” Here’s a video of the UM players just after they were shown the jerseys for the first time, and they sure were excited as well as the pictures of the sick new units that will be hitting the field in 2014.
