The Knights finished sixth in the final Associated Press college football poll last season, and they weren’t invited to compete in the 4-team College Football Playoff, despite finishing the year with a perfect 13-0 record, making them the only undefeated team in the sport.

According to Andrea Adelson of ESPN.com, UCF athlete director Danny White promised both banners and parades after proclaiming the team the national champions of the sport. The team already celebrated a parade at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fl.

Even though Alabama is going down in the record books as the 2017-18 National Champions of college football, UCF is letting people know who they think the real champs of the college football world are.
