Deshaun Watson put on a show against the No. 1 team in the country as he lead the Clemson Tigers to their first National Championship since 1981.
Watson was named the game’s Most Valuable Player, completing 36 of 56 passes for 420 yards and three touchdowns.
But this performance wasn’t surprising for Watson, as he promised this on his Twitter account four years ago:
