It’s safe to say Eddy Pineiro is not human. This kid is in high school, HIGH SCHOOL kicking 77-yard bombs in practice.
Yes, a practice kick is very different from a game situation, where a kicker is able to lower the trajectory due to no defensive line, but very impressive nonetheless. Keep in mind that the longest kick in NFL history If the kick translated to a live game, whichever college he chose’s offense would only have to reach their own 39-yard line to be in “field goal range.”
On Tuesday, the 20-year-old Florida native posted a video on Twitter of himself nailing a 77-yard field goal.
77 yarder the grind don’t stop working hard to be the best. pic.twitter.com/p5s4GQVpAi

Broke my personal best record with a 73 yarder today! ?✊pic.twitter.com/qmE5IVBNbW — Eddy Pineiro (@eddypineiro1) June 28, 2015
The kid also blasts kickoffs out of the end zone. Considering in Florida high school football you aren’t allowed to take back a kick if it’s caught in the end zone, it wouldn’t be too far off to say we aren’t sure if anyone’s even had the chance to return on of his kicks.
Happy thanksgiving to everyone! Kickoff through the uprights #ThanksgivingGrind #hardworkpaysoff pic.twitter.com/cZAdH5xzGN

Pineiro, currently an Alabama Crimson Tide commit, is still apparently keeping his options open, as he visited the Gators from the University of Florida this weekend. We were wondering if this was the longest kick ever recorded on camera and did some digging, and remember that University of Texas’ kicker Nick Rose drilled an 80-yard FG in practice:
