Rich Eisen Uses Stuart Scott Quotes for Bengals-Colts Playoff Highlights

The sports world lost of it’s best and popular sports broadcasters yesterday with the passing of Stuart Scott.

The longtime ESPN SportsCenter anchor died of cancer Sunday morning, leaving behind his two daughters and a long line of mourning colleagues, fans and friends. One his biggest fan, his closest friend  and favorite colleague, Rich Eisen was very emotional on air during Sunday’s Game Day Morning on NFL Network. Eisen who anchored SportsCenter with Scott during their early broadcasting days with ESPN.

After giving an emotional reports Scott’s death on GameDay morning, Eisen paid tribute to his friend’s memory by using some of the best Stuart Scott catchphrases while reading the highlights of Sunday’s AFC Wild Card Round game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts. 

Eisen, who went full Stuart Scott dropping dimes from “boo-yah” to the famous “what had happened was” and even went as far as to making LL Cool J references. It was the perfect homage to Scott, who’s broadcasting career was always done in style and it was Scott’s famous commentary that changed the way people viewed Sports broadcasting.
