Malcolm Butler Interviews Football Fans About Super Bowl XLIX & Goes Unrecognized

New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler made one of the biggest defensive plays in Super Bowl history earlier this month but for some reason he still goes unrecognized by football fans on the street.

With the Patriots holding onto a 28-24 lead over the Seattle Seahawks in the final minute of Super Bowl XLIX, it was Malcolm Butler who came up with the one of the biggest plays in Super Bowl history when he intercepted a Russell Wilson pass. If it wasn’t for that great play by the rookie, the Seahawks surely would have won the game and be celebrating their second consecutive Super Bowl championship.

Butler, who was a guest of NFL Network’s NFL Total Access, hit the streets and interviewed random football fans about their reaction to the big game. Butler talked about the game and his game-saving interception without anyone realizing, they were actually talking to the guy who MADE THE PLAY!

After a while, Butler revealed himself to the individuals he was interviewing but seeing their reaction, one can imagine how many people in the New England-area would actually know who Malcolm Butler is if they tried this experiment there.

Unfortunately the people in Boston are still digging their way out of the snow the area has been hit with since the Super Bowl.
